1. Who is Perry's?
Perry’s is a family-owned café, rental and bike tour operator with eight beachside business located along the world-famous Gold Coast in Santa Monica and Venice Beach, California. An institution for beach goers of all ages, Perry’s has been in business for more than 30 years! Perry’s also provides historical beach bike tours through its affiliate, Legends Beach Bike Tours.

2. How do I get to Perry's?
Perry’s has sun drenched beachside locations in Santa Monica and Venice, California between the California incline (California Ave) and Washington Blvd. All locations are easily accessible by vehicle, motor-cycle or bicycle, public transportation and foot. To find us click here.

3. Is there parking at Perry's?
Every Perry’s location is conveniently located adjacent to public parking facilities where unreserved beach parking is available is sunrise to sunset, 365 days per year. There is no overnight parking in Santa Monica or Venice beach lots except by special permit. Parking in the beach lots south of the Santa Monica Pier is $6.00 per car or motorcycle, $36.00 for RVs, $18.00 for buses (pre approved only). The daily day parking rate at the beach lots north of the Santa Monica Pier is $7.00 per car or motorcycle, $28.00 for RVs, and buses $7.00 per space used. Please note city parking rates vary between peak and off-peak season. Short term meter parking is also available in the neighborhoods adjacent to Venice and Santa Monica beaches.

There is $1 and $2 parking available at locations 2400 OFW & 2600 OFW. 4. Do I have to pay to park at Perrys?
Yes Perry’s are located on City-owned properties and the adjacent parking lots and meters are City managed.

5. Can I be dropped off at Perry's?
Yes although drop-off vehicles can not enter the public parking lots without paying a fee.

6. I have a big rig. Can I park at Perry's?
Parking is available for vehicles, RVs, motor homes, limousines and other larger vehicles and trucks in most city lots. Parking permits prices are dependent on vehicles size.

7. Can I ride my bicycle or motorcycle to Perry's?
Yes, each Perry’s location are accessible by both cycle and motorcycle. While bicycle park free, motorcycle do pay vehicle parking rates in either the public lots or meter spaces.

8. What are my public transportation options?
Los Angeles Metro bus 720 travels down Wilshire Blvd, to Ocean Ave, to Santa Monica, which is within walking distance of the Perry’s locations on the Santa Monica Pier as well as those located south and north of the Pier.

9. I own an electric car, can recharge it anywhere on the City beach lots?
No, Recharging stations are only located on city-owned public parking structure 7 and 8 near the Santa Monica place Mall, on the Santa Monica Pier, and in the Santa Monica civic lot.

10. I own a CNG or electric vehicle, do i pay for parking?
Santa Monica and Los Angeles city governments encourage green behavior. You can park your sate registered (with a sticker) CNG or vehicle without feeding the city parking meters; however the parking fee for city owned beach lots is not waived.

11. I'm having a special or group event at Perry's, do I have to pay for parking?
Yes all beach lots are owned and operated by eigher the city of Santa Monica or the City of Los Angeles and have no affiliation with perry’s.

12. Can I bring alcoholic beverages to Perry's Santa Monica beach?
Alcoholic beverages are only allowed at those locations with appropriate California state liquor sales or distribution licenses. Alcohol is not allowed on state beaches or on Perry premises.

13. Are pets allowed at Perry's?
All Perry’s Café and rental locations are pet friendly. While you may have leashed pets on the beach and bike paths, pets other than assistive animals, such as guide dog for the blind- are not allowed on Santa Monica or Venice beaches. Dog watering stations are every Perry’s, we care.

14. Can groups visit in Perry's?
Yes, Perry’s can accommodate the needs of private and corporate groups of any size. You may make advance reservations for groups of ten or more by calling 310.939.0000.

15. Can I smoke at perry's?
No, California law prohibits smoking in all restaurants and public spaces…including the beach

16. Can I ride my Segway in the bike path?
No, operation of Segways is illegal on all bike paths in Santa Monica and Venice. You may legally operate them on public street, walkpaths and sidewalks.

17. Can I buy new rollerblades or a new bike at Perry's?
No, while Perry’s operates the largest fleet of rental bikes and rollerblades in California. Perry’s does not sell new bikes or rollerblades. Once per year, Perry’s does sell off its used rental inventory at heavily discounted rate. If you are interested in advance notice of such sales. Email us.

18. Can i film or photograph at Perry's?
Yes. Perry's is available for filming and location shoots. Any commercial or other unauthorized use of any transmission, picture, film/type, writing, drawing, or other depiction or description of any Perry's name or trademark or logo is prohibited without prior specific written approval of Perry's. For more information, please call 310.939.0000. Tourist photos are just fine.

19. Does Perry's accept credit cards?
No. Perry's gladly accepts cash and traveler's checks. For ATM info see #21.

20. Are there regulation volleyball courts near Perry's?
Yes! There are men's and women's regulation courts at Perry's 2600 Ocean Front Walk, 2400 Ocean Front Walk, and 1200 Pacific Coast Highway locations.

21. I've run out of cash, is there an ATM near Perry's?
Yes. Perry's has ATM machines at each of it's eight locations.

22. Is there a visitor's bureau in Santa Monica?
